The Consultation:

The process begins with a phone interview and a subsequent in person consultation with a member of the Sedation Team. Our sedation team members are caring and empathetic professionals that are there to listen to you ,not judge you. If there is a family member or friend that you would like to accompany you feel free to include them. Once we have discussed your concerns, health issues and anxiety level a treatment plan will be developed by the doctors that is particular to your situation.

The Night Before

A sedative is offered the night before to ensure a good night's sleep. As you will need to designate a friend or family member to drive you to and from your appointment we recommend confirming their time of arrival the night before.

Your Day of Treatment:

Your companion will accompany you to the office and provide contact numbers to your sedation team. At this time additional oral medications will be provided to create a relaxed, comfortable experience.  These various medications are in the Valium family and are well know, effective and safe. Patients are never asleep but relaxed and comfortable. Your assigned Sedation Team will monitor you and only for the entire day. Once your treatment is complete your companion will take you home and stay with you until the sedative has worn off.Your Sedation Team  will provide your companion with the appropriate recommendations to hasten your recovery. As a result of this process patients will be amazed at how much can be accomplished in just one relaxed , pain free visit.
